Dr. Bivash Mandal is currently working as an Investigator, Biopharmaceutical Product Development, GSK, and Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA. He obtained Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and Masters of Pharmacy degree (major in Pharmaceutics) from Jadavpur University, India. He pursued MS degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with Industrial Pharmacy major from University of Toledo, Ohio, USA. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Tennessee Health Science Centre, Memphis, TN, USA. Prior to joining the MS program, he worked as a scientist in the formulation R & D department at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., and Pfizer India and also worked as a Sr. Research Specialist at Plough Center for Sterile Drug Delivery Systems at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, TN, USA. He has authored in many scientific peer-reviewed articles, patent application and conference presentations. He serves as the editorial board members, reviewers in many pharmaceutical science journals and received prestigious AAPS graduate research award.
