Dr. Partha Roy is of Pharmaceutics background and did his Ph.D. from Department of Chemical Technology, University of Calcutta. After completion of M.Pharm, he worked as a Pharmaceutics faculty in a post-graduate pharmacy institution in India before joining full-time research for his PhD. During his PhD and post-doc tenure he received several distinguished fellowships including Indian Council of Medical Research, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and Indo-Hungarian Research fellowship. He also served as an overseas Pharmaceutical Technology faculty in University Malaysia Pahang, Govt. of Malaysia. Dr. Roy research focuses on nanotechological interventions in medicine, drug delivery, formulation development and cell-imaging tools. Currently he is experimenting with carbon nanomaterials obtained by waste to wealth approach as newer theragnostic materials. He has several high-impact publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences with h-index 15 and i10-index 18. He is the recipient of several research awards and travel grants in both India and overseas. Recently he secured prestigious international research funding “Asean Grant” in collaboration with overseas University partners. Dr. Roy is an avid researcher with an ambition to strive for excellence in pharmaceutical education and research.
