Training and Placement

The need of skilled manpower in the pharmaceutical industry ranges widely from R&D, Quality Assurance (QA), Intellectual Property (IP), manufacturing to even sales and marketing. Today pharmaceutical industry is, in fact, struggling to retain talent in all these areas, even with lucrative compensation packages, talent development programs together with offering a bright career path. This happens mainly because the demand for talent far outweighs its supply. Pharmaceutical industry has the potential to attract a larger number of talents even during global financial meltdown, as the industry is virtually recession proof.

Adequately skilled, competent and motivated workforce will continue to be at the pinnacle of importance, both in safe and effective delivery of healthcare as well as in fuelling the growth of the pharmaceutical industry in India.

Placement is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employment. Our placement cell is performing the following activities:

• Arranging industrial training/ internships/tour for students.
• Inviting various Pharmaceutical Companies for campus recruitment.

In addition to placement assistance, training & placement cell of Adamas University organizes programs like, Mock interviews, group discussions, case studies, etc. to make the students industry ready.

• The students are admitted to the department on the basis of their WBJEE ranks and Adamas University entrance examination (A.U.A.T).
•  The individual attention and monitoring of students are done through vibrant mentor mentee system so that their performance is judged at every instance.
• The laboratories in our department are enriched with state of art facilities to enable the students master their hands-on experience. 
• Adamas University and the department have entered into MOU’s with high ranked global universities facilitating student/ faculty exchange for mutual sharing of knowledge and expertise.
• Eminent professors from different renowned universities and industry stalwarts provide impetus to the pre-placement grooming sessions to the students inorder to make the industry ready. 
• Our students have been involved in different activities of Entrepreneurship Cell where they have been shared their idea and execute the same. They also market the products that they have been manufactured in pilot scale. 
• Our students are encouraged to participate in International and National level conferences and received scientific appreciation. 

Besides their domain knowledge students are also exposed to grooming classes by University Professional Training group to enhance their communication and team building skills.
